Volunteer Requirements

To help keep registration fees affordable, each family is required to complete 30 hours of volunteer service per season (which must consist of at least three open-skate sessions), along with participation in one summer fundraising event.

Volunteer opportunities include: working at Friday night open skates (entry, concessions, ice monitor), facility cleaning, grant writing (includes submission & monitoring), fundraising efforts, public relations events and more. Because our association is volunteer-driven, we rely on the time and dedication of our families to keep the Ice Hawks strong and thriving.

Please note: Any unfulfilled volunteer hours will be billed at $20.00 per hour.
